Eligibility & Educational Qualification
- Must have passed Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC – 12th pass) or equivalent from a recognized board.
- Must possess a 6-month Fireman Training Certificate OR Driver-Pump Operator Training Certificate from a recognized institute.
- Must hold a valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) Driving License.
- Must meet the prescribed physical standards:
- Male Candidates:
- Height: 165 cm (160 cm for ST candidates)
- Chest: 81 cm (unexpanded), 86 cm (expanded), minimum expansion 5 cm
- Weight: Minimum 50 kg
- Female Candidates:
- Height: 158 cm (156 cm for ST candidates)
- Weight: Minimum 40 kg
- Male Candidates:
- Basic knowledge of Computer Applications.
- Knowledge of Gujarati and/or Hindi language is required.
Age Limit
- Minimum: 18 years
- Maximum: 33 years (as on 15-09-2025)
- Age relaxation:
- Female (General): +5 years
- Reserved Category Male: +5 years

Salary
- Fixed Pay: ₹26,000/- per month for the first 5 years.
- After 5 years, regular pay scale of ₹19,900 – ₹63,200 (Level-2, 7th CPC) will be applicable.
